Abuse of ICT
Exposure to ICT, if not properly guided, leaves the users
vulnerable. Young minds of students are often exploited by visiting porn website and ultimately disturbing

brain undergoes a period of great neuroplasticity. The brain is in a flexible
stage during which billions of new neuron cells are made. This leaves us
vulnerable to the influence of our surroundings and leads our brains to be
"wired" around the experiences and information that we receive during
that time period. Thus during long term the brain chemistry of the child may
get spoiled and lead to self destruction. Therefore, I strongly recommend the censorship of internet
usage for young adults .
In this regard, we as educators, parents and adults need to teach the values of using ict in a meaningful way. As suggested by you, it will definitely abuse if we do not instill the value to them. To refrain exploring from unwanted activities, it is our duty to create awareness to their parents, students, neighbours on the use of ict. We can carry out this program during the teacher-parents meeting and with students. Create and reflect in the school calendar for awareness program.
